August 13, 2018 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a person found at 8600 Beechnut about 6:55 p.m. on Sunday.  

The gender, identity and cause of death of the person are pending verification by the Harris County 

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Burrow and Detective E. May reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address after a witness reported finding a body in a drainage ditch.  

The investigation is pending the cause of death.
