Investigation into Fatal Crash at 9200 Fondren
July 30, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 9200 Fondren about 7:30 a.m. on Sunday (July 29).
The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Officer J. Perrotte reported:
The driver of a white Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling southbound on Fondren when he failed to maintain a single lane, drove onto a grassy median, and then struck a tree. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. The pickup truck's passenger was transported to Southwest Memorial Hermann Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other vehicles nor motorists were involved in this incident.
