Investigation into Shooting at 2200 Sakowitz Street

June 11, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 2200 Sakowitz about 5 p.m. on June 5.   

The victim, Kevin Miller, 37, was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.  

HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers J. Russell and A. Le reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a hospital check call at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital regarding a man (Mr. Miller) who arrived with a gunshot wound to the pelvic area.  Further investigation determined Miller had been shot by an unknown suspect(s) and was transported by private vehicle to the hospital.  

At this time, there is no known motive for the shooting.
