UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Charged in 2017 Fatal Shooting at 14600 Buffalo Speedway

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 14600 Buffalo Speedway about 12:10 a.m. on July 2, 2017.

The suspect, Fransisko Morgan (b/m, 40), is charged with murder in the 263rd State District Court.  A photo of Morgan is not available at this time.  

The victim, Termaine Harris, 33, suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Burton reported:

Mr. Harris and another man became involved in a physical altercation at the above address.  During the altercation, the suspect produced a pistol and shot Harris as well as a witness.  Harris was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The witness, who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, was also transported to the hospital where he was treated and released.  The suspect fled the scene.

Following an extensive investigation, detectives identified Fransisko Morgan as the suspect in this case and, on Thursday (March 8), he was arrested without incident in Conroe by U.S. Marshals.
