Houston police are investigating the shooting of two people that occurred at 3400 Liberty Road about 8:10 p.m. on Sunday (March 12).
 
The male victim, 21, and female victim, 14, were both transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
 
HPD Major Assaults Squad Detectives G. Black and A. Hernandez reported:
 
HPD patrol officers were dispatched to a reported shooting at a block party at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found one victim inside a restaurant and a second victim across the street inside a convenience store. 
 
The suspected gunman, described only as an unknown black male, had fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival.
