Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7400 South Hall

October 8, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female found at 7400 South Hall about 11:30 p.m. on Sunday (October 7).  

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Fregia and K. McDonald reported:  

According to a witness, the victim was walking near the above address when a male suspect came up behind her and shot her.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.  The suspect then walked away in the direction from which he had come on South Hall.  

The suspect is described only as a black male, possibly wearing brown shorts and a blue plaid button-down shirt.
