Suspect Charged, Wanted in Stabbing of Woman at 2411 Deutser Street

September 20, 2018 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the stabbing of a woman at 2411 Deutser Street about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept. 18).

The suspect, Roman Perez (H/m, 54), is charged with aggravated assault of a family member in the 183rd State District Court.  A photo of Perez is not available at this time.

The female victim, 46, of the above address, was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Senior Police Officer J. Hasley and Officer C. Grahmann reported:

The victim and Perez live together at the above address.  She stated Perez arrived home intoxicated and the two got into an argument.  Believing he was in violation of the terms of his parole for burglary of a habitation, the victim attempted to retrieve the phone number of Perez's parole officer.  At that time, Perez then assaulted her with a kitchen knife.  He then fled the scene.
