Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6655 Atwell Drive
April 1, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6655 Atwell Drive about 9:45 p.m. last Friday (March 29).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 20s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Heaverlo and C. Duncan reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim lying in the parking lot. He had been shot at least one time and paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Witnesses reported hearing a gunshot or firecracker sound, but no one reported seeing the incident.
