Investigation into Shooting at 739 Corydon Drive

October 7, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man and woman at 739 Corydon Drive about 12:40 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 5).

The victims, Brandon Ellis, 35, and Lesley Nicole Blansit, 37, sustained non-life-threatening wounds.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers V. Habukiha and B. Naughton reported:

Patrol officers responded to a shooting at a residence at the above address and learned that Mr. Ellis and Ms. Blansit were standing in the their driveway when an unknown make/model vehicle slowly drove down their street.  A passenger inside the vehicle then fired several shots in the victims' direction, striking Ellis in the shin and grazing Blansit in her thigh.  Paramedics transported Ellis to an area hospital in stable condition and treated Blansit at the scene.   

At this time, the suspects are described only as two black males.
