Update: Persons of Interest Sought in Fatal Shooting at 8165 Richmond Avenue

April 7, 2020 - Houston police homicide detectives are seeking three persons of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a juvenile male that occurred at 8165 Richmond Avenue about 8:45 p.m. on March 31.

The victim, 5, was pronounced dead last Friday (April 3).  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:

The victim was shot while standing on the balcony of a second story apartment at the above address.  Paramedics transported the boy to Texas Children’s Hospital in critical condition. 

Further investigation has led to the identities of three female persons of interest wanted for questioning.  They are Shapree Monique Stoneham, 29, Khalisah Smith, 18, and Alexis Moshae Gore, 22.  Detectives would like to speak with the women and emphasize they are not charged at this time.  Photos of the females are attached to this news release.
