Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5400 Harrisburg Boulevard

April 13, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 5400 Harrisburg about 8:15 p.m.m last Friday (April 10).

The victim, Isaac Padilla, 19, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Collier and J. Stroble reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at a business parking lot at the above address and found Mr. Padilla suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  Witnesses stated Padilla was fighting with two suspects which led to a physical altercation.  The fight then escalated to a suspect pulling a gun and shooting Padilla.

The suspects ran from the scene and continued to fire a pistol near an open business.  They got into an unknown vehicle occupied by two additional suspects and fled the scene in an unknown direction.  Witnesses provided medical aid the victim prior to arrival of paramedics.
