Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5700 North Wayside
February 10, 2020 - motorcylist injured in a crash at 5700 North Wayside about 3:45 p.m. on January 26 has died.
The victim's idenity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer E. Morgado reported:
The driver of a black Chevrolet Avalanche was turning left into a parking lot at the above address without yielding the right of way. The victim, operating a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle, struck the Chevrolet. The motorcyclist was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where, on Friday (February 7), he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is continuing.
