Suspects Arrested, Charged in 2018 Fatal Shooting at 2800 Bammel Lane

February 10, 2020 - Charges have been filed against three suspects arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 2800 Bammel Lane about 12:15 p.m. on November 13, 2018.

The suspects, Kendrick Johnson (b/m, 20), Dave'on Thomas (b/m, 18), and Keona Samireal Mouton (b/f, 17), are charged with murder in the 183rd State District Court.  Booking photos of Johnson and Thomas are attached to this news release.  Due to Mouton's age at the time of the incident, her booking is not releasable as a matter of Texas open records law.

The victim, Delindsey Dwayne Mack, 18, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants S. Murdock and C. Cegielski and Detectives K. James, J. Young, and T. Miller reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Mack had been shot several times by an unknown suspect(s).  He was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.  

The suspect(s) fled in a small, dark gray, four-door car, possibly a NIssan Sentra or Versa with paper license plates and plastic covering the rear passenger side window.  

Further investigation led to the identification of suspects Johnson, Thomas and Mouton and they were subsequently arrested and charged in this case.
