Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2850 Fannin Street

November 4, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 2850 Fannin Street #1205 about 1:20 a.m. today (Wednesday, November 4).

The victim's identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective S. Overstreet reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address, after the apartment complex concierge reported a resident had been shot.  Two friends of the victim arrived at the scene, stating the victim had called them to report he had been shot.  The concierge let the friends go up to the apartment where they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  The friends then brought him to the first floor so he could be transported to the hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s) in this case.
