Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10000 West Loop South

November 5, 2020 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 10000 West Loop South (West Interstate Highway 610) about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday (November 5).

The male victim, 27, was pronounced deceased at the scene.  His identification is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Johnson reported:

The victim was operating a red Suzuki GSX motorcycle at a high rate of speed at the above address when he struck a gray Honda Accord.  The motorcyclist lost control and came to rest near the median.  He was then struck by a gold Toyota Camry.  The driver of the Camry remained at the scene and was questioned and released.

A witness reported possibly seeing a second vehicle, a white pickup truck, also strike the victim and then flee the scene.
