Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 500 South 75th Street

September 8, 2020 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found deceased at 500 South 75th Street about 1:30 p.m. on Sunday (September 6).

The man's identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detective B. Evans reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to the above address after an off-duty Precinct 5 deputy constable reported seeing the man floating face down in Brays Bayou.

The man is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 45 to 50 years old, and weighing about 180 to 220 pounds.  He was wearing black shorts, black socks, black athletic shoes and had no shirt.  He suffered no obvious signs of foul play.
