Investigation into Shooting at 1100 Carroll Oliver Way

September 14, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 1100 Carroll Oliver Way about 6:45 p.m. on Sunday (September 13).  

The victim, Torrie Pruitt, 28, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer K. Saulsberry reported:  

Mr. Pruitt was sitting in his vehicle, parked on the side of the street at the above address, when a black sedan pulled alongside.  An unknown suspect(s) fired multiple shots into Pruitt's car, striking him several times.  The sedan's driver then fled the scene.  Pruitt was transported by private vehicle to the hospital with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and lower body.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
