Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2600 Lazy Hollow Drive

September 21, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 2600 Lazy Hollow Drive about 10 p.m. last Friday (Sept. 18).

The identity of the male victim, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective K. Heaverlo reported:

The victim was inside his apartment at the above address when a rock was thrown through his bedroom window.  According to a witness, the victim stepped outside to investigate and he was shot multiple times.  The victim then ran back into the apartment and collapsed in the bathroom.  Paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
