August 12, 2021 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 5600 Will Clayton Parkway that occurred about 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday (August 11).  

The identity of the female victim, 77, is pending verificaiton by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer D. Jones reported:  

The driver of a white Ford Ranger pickup truck was traveling eastbound near the above address when she lost control of the vehicle.  The pickup truck veered to the left and struck a tree in the median.  The driver of the pickup truck was transported to HCA Houston HealthCare Kingwood where she was pronounced deceased.  

The investigation is continuing.
