Investigation into Shooting at 10609 Westpark Drive

August 13, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 10609 Westpark Drive about 12:30 a.m. today.  

The victim, Omar Hernandez-Valle, 33, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Graf II and C. Brown reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a discharge of firearms at a hotel parking lot at the above address and learned a shooting had occurred.  Officers located Mr. Hernandez-Valle in a vehicle not far from the original location.  He had been shot multiple times.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Hernandez-Valle to the hospital.  

The suspect is described only as a young black male, about six feet tall, with short hair.
