Suspect Arrested, Others Sought in Shooting Incident at 12505 Bellaire Boulevard

August 20, 2021 - Charges have been filed against a male suspect wounded in a shooting incident at 12505 Bellaire Boulevard about 3 p.m. on Thursday (August 19).

The suspect, Kaleb Davis (b/m, 17), is charged with deadly conduct/discharge of a firearm in the 337th State District Court.  A booking photo of Davis, who remains hospitalized, is not available for release at this time.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers M. Combs and A. Barker reported:

Davis got into a physical altercation with an unknown suspect at a convenience store at the above address.  During the argument, Davis pulled out a gun and shot at a crowd of individuals, including the unknown suspect.  As many as three individuals in the group of people fired back, striking Davis one time in the hip.  The three shooting suspects then fled the scene.  Paramedics transported Davis to the hospital in stable condition.
