Investigation into Shooting at 8118 Martin Luther King Boulevard

February 5, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 8118 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 7:25 p.m. on Thursday (February 4).  

The victim, Michael Miller, 57, was treated at the scene and released.   

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer J. Cimeni reported: 

Mr. Miller was standing in the parking lot of a gas station at the above address when a vehicle of unknown make and model drove past.  An unknown suspect fired shots from inside the vehicle toward the gas station. Miller suffered a minor graze wound to one of his fingers and was treated at the scene .  

Investigators believe Miller was not the intended target of the gunfire.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
