Investigation into Shooting at 11600 Gulf Freeway

January 14, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at 11600 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) about 12:55 p.m. on Wednesday (January 13).

The victim, 36, suffered a non life-threatening wound and was treated at the scene and released.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives M. Delon and H. Martinez reported:

The victim state he was entering and exiting the freeway near Fuqua when a female driver in a sliver or gray BMW SUV pulled alongside.  She began cursing at him and then reportedly shooting at him.  The victim tried to drive away from the shooter, crashing into another motorist down the road.  The victim suffered a minor gunshot wound to his left foot and his vehicle had been shot multiple times.

The suspect is described only as a white or Hispanic female, 28 to 35 years of age.
