November 22, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4422 Weaver Road about 3:15 p.m. last Friday (November 19).  

The victim is identified as Willie Johnson, 34, of the above address.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Hale and K. Amri reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found Mr. Johnson lying in the courtyard.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Johnson deceased.  

A preliminary investigation and witness statements indicated two male suspects got into a verbal altercation with Johnson and then shots were fired.  Johnson was struck and the suspects, described only as two black males, fled the scene.
