September 07, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12100 San Lucia River Drive about 11:25 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 6).

The identity of the victim, 42, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective L. Lovelace reported:

Patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the 6600 block of Winfield Road and found the victim deceased in the back seat of a pickup truck.  Witnesses in the pickup truck told officers they left a gas station on East Mount Houston Road at Suburban Drive and were followed by a white, four-door Toyota.  The front seat passenger of the Toyota fired several shots at the victim near the above address and then fled the scene.

The suspects are described only as three Hispanic males and one Hispanic female.
