April 25, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 5300 Liberty Road about 7:10 a.m. on Sunday (April 24).

The identity of the deceased male, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer J. Rangel reported:

The male was driving a black Audi A3 westbound at the above address when he failed to drive in a single lane, crossed into the eastbound lanes and then struck a concrete barrier on the south side of the roadway. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
