April 28, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 3400 Woodchase Drive about 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday (April 27).

The identity of the victim, 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in an apartment at the above address. The officers found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced the woman deceased.

Investigators believe the victim and suspect knew each other. The suspect's identity is unknown at this time.
