February 28, 2022 - Houston police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred at 8200 West FM 1960 Road about 8:35 p.m. last Friday (February 25). 

The identity of the female victim, 32, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. 

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Hroch and Officer M. Keita reported:  

A witness stated the victim was crossing FM 1960 when she was struck by a white Cadillac Escalade traveling eastbound near the above address.  The driver of the vehicle did not stop to provide medical assistance and fled the scene.  The victim died at the scene.
