January 18, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 6003 Richmond Avenue about 1:40 a.m. on Saturday (January 15).  

The victim, Anthony Scott, 23, was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive his wounds.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives V. Habukiha and G. Brian reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and learned Mr. Scott and a male suspect got into a verbal altercation.  The argument carried over into a parking lot and, at some point, the suspect shot Scott in the right arm and chest.  The suspect, described only as a black male, fled the scene.  Paramedics transported Scott to the hospital.
