Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 6802 Cullen Boulevard

January 19, 2022 - Houston police are searching for a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 6802 Cullen Boulevard about 1:10 a.m. on Monday (January 17).

The suspect, Keith Gaderson (b/m, 27), is charged with murder and unlawful carrying of a weapon in the 185th State District Court.  A previous 2021 booking photo of Gaderson is attached to this news release.

The identity of the victim, 39, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Kauffman and A. Ferrell reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in a parking lot at the above address and found the victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased. 

Witnesses stated a known suspect, Gaderson, shot the victim prior to fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.  Gaderson was subsequently charged for his role in the shooting and is wanted at this time.
