July 13, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12423 Sunset Ridge Lane about 8 a.m. on Tuesday (July 12).

The identity of the victim, 47, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Pak and J. Wallschlaeger reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call outside a residence at the above address and found the victim unresponsive on the ground. He had suffered multiple gunshots wounds. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Investigators later learned a dark sedan, unknown make and model, drove away from the scene after multiple shots were fired. At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
