Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2625 Panagard Street

July 18, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of another man at 2526 Panagard Street about 7:35 p.m. on Saturday (July 16).  

The identity of the deceased male, 20, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives N. Henderson and L. Patterson reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found Houston Fire Department paramedics providing medical assistance to two men with gunshot wounds.  One man was pronounced deceased.  A second man, 20, was transported to an area hospital with a wound to his shoulder.  

A preliminary investigation and evidence from the scene indicated multiple males with rifles were in the parking lot prior to the shooting.  A black Chevrolet SUV was seen fleeing the scene after the shooting, traveling south on Panagard.
