May 9, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 9545 Ella Lee Lane about 8:10 p.m. last Friday (May 6).

The victim is identified as Axel Turcios, 14.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives L.. Lovelace, C.  Duncan and Robbery Division detectives reported:

Alex Turcios was in the parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address when he was approached by two Hispanic male suspects.  One or both suspects fired shots and struck Turcios.  It is believed the suspects then took an item(s) from him.  The suspects fled the scene in a dark Chrysler PT Cruiser and traveled northbound on Tanglewilde Street.

Paramedics transported Turcios to a hospital in critical condition.  Doctors pronounced him deceased on Saturday (May 7).
