August 21, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman found at 10200 West Bellfort Boulevard about 8 p.m. on Saturday (August 19).
The identity of the victim, 21, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Martinez and S. Chettry reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a deceased person/welfare check call at an apartment complex at the above address. HPD officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics made entry into the apartment and found an unresponsive woman with at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced the woman deceased.

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
