August 31, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two men at 7298 Kings Gate Circle about 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday (August 30).

The identities of the victims are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Escobar and M. Perez reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found two men in the area with multiple gunshot wounds. One man was found seated in a red Chrysler 300 with the engine running and parked near an office building. The second man was found lying on the ground several feet away from the vehicle. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene pronounced the men deceased.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots in the area and seeing a dark-colored truck fleeing eastbound toward Fondren Road immediately after the shooting.
