July 6, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at  9700 Windwater Drive about 6:35 p.m. on Wednesday (July 5).  

The identity of the male, 16, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Ledford and A. Graf reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a crash at the above address and found witnesses had pulled the male out of the driver's seat and attempted to provide medical assistance.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.  

Further investigation determined the male had suffered a gunshot wound.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
