July 10, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9611 Grant Road about 9:35 a.m. on Saturday (July 8).

The identity of the male, 22, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at an apartment at the above address and found the male inside an apartment.  He had suffered multiple apparent gunshot wounds.  Paramedics pronounced the male deceased.

Detectives questioned the shooter and all individuals involved in the incident.  The investigation into the events leading up to the shooting is ongoing.
