Two brothers had stopped in a strip center parking lot near a store at the above address and exited their vehicle.  According to the brother, his brother then got upset due to the store being closed and threw a wooden pallet onto the service road and then onto the main lanes of the Southwest Freeway.  The male then walked into the main lanes of the freeway and was struck by a white Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling southbound on the freeway.  The driver of the Dodge did not stop to provide assistance and fled the scene.  The brother of the male then pulled his brother's body off the freeway and onto the shoulder.
