October 9, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred in the 3300 block of Allen Parkway about 1:20 a.m. today.

The identity of the deceased male, 23, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y. Ramirez and Officer D. Thompson reported:

The male was operating a red Yamaha XSR motorcycle eastbound on Allen Parkway when he lost control of the bike and struck the median. He then struck the fence, dropped the motorcycle and fell a short distance away. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

No other vehicles or persons were involved in this crash.

The investigation is continuing.
