October 30, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 6102 Winsome Lane about 11:20 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 29).

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. James and Officer T. Syed reported:

The male, a pedestrian, was attempting to cross the street - not in a crosswalk - when he was struck by a white Nissan 350Z traveling eastbound at the above address. The driver immediately stopped and waited for officers to arrive.

Paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene. The male driver, 45, was questioned, did not show signs of intoxication and was released.

The investigation is continuing.
