UPDATE: Investigation into Female Found Deceased at 1900 Nance Street

January 9, 2024 - Houston police have learned the identity and manner of death of a woman found at 1900 Nance Street about 5:40 p.m. last Friday (Jan. 5). An autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences verified the identity of the victim as Tierra Horn, 18.  The autopsy ruled her death a homicide.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Stringer and A. Graf reported:

Officers, investigators and Harris County Precinct 6 Constable deputies were searching an area near the bayou at the above address and located Ms. Horn's body near the bayou.  She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives are following up on leads in the case at this time.
