Two Persons of Interest Sought in Fatal Shooting at 3820 Yellowstone Boulevard

July 7, 2024 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating two persons of interest wanted in the fatal shooting of two men and the wounding of a third man at 3820 Yellowstone Boulevard about 2 p.m. on Saturday (July 6).

A photo of the persons of interest is attached to this news release.  The males, believed to be 17 to 22 years of age, are not charged and are wanted for questioning.

The identities of the two deceased victims, 17 and 28, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  The third victim, 28, is in serious condition at an area hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Dudley and Detective K. Heaverlo reported:

Officers responded to a "shot spotter" call at the above address and found a man (28) unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a truck.  A second man (17) was found unresponsive on the ground near the vehicle.  A third man (28) was observed conscious and breathing nearby.  All three victims had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced two victims deceased and transported the third victim to a hospital where he underwent surgery.

Detectives are trying to determine what led up to the shooting and would like to speak with the two unidentified black males who were present at the time of the shooting. They are persons of interest at this time.
