Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12526 Ashford River
December 7, 2015 -Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile female and the wounding of two other persons at 12526 Ashford River about 10:35 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 5).
The identity of the female, 13, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Two other victims, a 17-year-old male and 13-year-old female, were transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital and treated and released for their injuries.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Smith and Senior Police Officer L. Lovelace reported:
A group of juveniles was in the driveway of a residence at the above address when a small gray, four-door vehicle drove by. Several shots were fired from inside the vehicle at the juveniles. Witnesses stated four black males were seen in the vehicle as it sped away.
