Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 1312 Robin


July 5, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of three men and wounding of two other persons at 1312 Robin about 10:35 p.m. on Monday (July 4).

The identities of the deceased men, ages 26, 29 and 29, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  A fourth male, 37, and a juvenile male, 10, were transported to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. Fontenot and Senior Police Officer R. Cervantes reported:

A large crowd of local residents were having an illegal fireworks display on the street near the above address.  During the gathering, three to four black male suspects began shooting at one of the adult male victims.  Five persons were struck.  The male suspects fled the scene.
