Surveillance Video Released of Possible Sex Assault Suspect


November 4, 2016 - HPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for questioning in the sexual assault of a 10-year-old boy at 11331 Airline Drive about 3:30 p.m. on August 24.

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing between 140 to 170 pounds.  He has a goatee and was wearing a dark-colored polo shirt and dark pants at the time of the incident.

HPD Special Victims Division Officer Annette Keyes reported:

The victim was visiting the public library at the above address when he entered the men’s restroom.  The suspect, who was already in the restroom, forced the boy into a stall and sexually assaulted him.  The child was able to escape and the suspect fled the scene on foot.
