Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 197 Goodson


November 9, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 197 Goodson about 10 p.m. on Tuesday (November 8).  

The victim, 31, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer T. Andrade and Officer S. Gromyko reported:  

The victim exited his vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex at the above address and was approached by two males armed with pistols.  The men got into a struggle and, at some point, the victim was shot.  HFD paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.  

Witnesses reported seeing a red sedan with at least four male suspects inside, however, only two males exited the vehicle and confronted the victim.  

The suspects are described only as black males.
