Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 12103 Creekhurst Drive
September 7, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 12103 Creekhurst Drive about 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday (September 6).
The victim, Iris Valentina Teruel-Pineda, 22, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants A. Semmelrock and H. Garcia reported:
Ms. Teruel-Pineda and a co-worker were leaving Teruel-Pineda's residence to go to work. As she was backing out of the driveway in her vehicle, a male suspect approached the vehicle from the rear. He then walked up to the driver's side window and shot Teruel-Pineda. The co-worker was not injured.
The suspect is described only as a male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
