Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 600 West Gulf Bank
September 19, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 600 West Gulf Bank Road about 3:15 a.m. on Saturday (September 17).
The victim, Jaime Rivera, 29, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. Murdock and Senior Police Officer B. Evans reported:
Mr. Rivera was in a vehicle traveling on the North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road near West Gulf Bank Road when the vehicle was shot at and Rivera was struck. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
There are no known witnesses nor suspect(s) at this time.
