Person of Interest Sought in Fatal Stabbing at 5801 North Houston Rosslyn


September 24, 2016 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in locating a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal stabbing of a woman at 5801 North Houston Rosslyn about 8:30 a.m. today (September 24).  

The person of interest is identified as Tereso Reyes, who also goes by Fernando Reyes.  Reyes, who has several aliases, is wanted for questioning in the killing of Ada Alfaro, 33, of the above address.  

Photos of Reyes, believed to be in his 40s, are attached to this news release.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Stark and G. Sullivan reported:  

Ms. Alfaro's daughter found her lying on the bedroom floor of her apartment at the above address.  She had suffered multiple stab wounds.  Reyes, Alfaro's boyfriend, is wanted for questioning and has not been charged at this time.  
Reyes was last seen traveling on the Southwest Freeway (South U. S. Highway 59) in a black 2007 Mazda 3 with Texas license plates GJT5457.  Investigators believe Reyes is fleeing to Mexico.
