Investigation into Murder Suicide at 14300 South Post Oak


January 5, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of two people and apparent suicide of a male at 14300 South Post Oak Road about 5:20 p.m. last Friday (December 29).  

The victims, Mary Carol McGehee, 56, and Kendrick Wade, 43, were pronounced dead at the scene.  

The suspect, Daniel Alfred Ferraretto, 43, suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Olive and S. Sylvester reported:  

Suspect Ferraretto came to the auto repair shop at the above address armed with a handgun.  He entered the business and fatally shot Ms. McGehee and Mr. Wade.  Ferraretto then went out into the car lot and shot himself.  All three were pronounced deceased by HFD paramedics.  

Further investigation determined Ferraretto was a former employee still employed at the business on a contractual basis.  At this time, the motive for the shooting has not been determined.
